Skew is a first person hack and slash game where you play as Beatrice who is a
chef turned prisoner of the colony’s tyrant. To survive another day,
you must kill aliens in different sectors to gather their meat and
satisfy the tyrant and hopefully defeat him one day...
As the Producer of the group where I led, managed and keep track of every team members progress
to ensure all timeline and goals are met.
As a gameplay programmer, I was in charge of creating the overall
level systems and game flow. I created the event system and scene state and cutscene system
to help facilitate the game flow and story telling. I was also in charge of creating the
dialogue manager where I ensured that the dialogue is played at the correct
time. I helped serialised and deserialised the dialogue through CSVHelper and ensured
the files are loaded and read at the right time.
