Game Description
Haru - a Tale of Rememebrance is an exciting puzzle-platformer game that takes you on a journey in a beautifully crafted world filled with unique and imaginative locations. As you progress through the game, you will encounter various obstacles and puzzles that you must solve using Haru's camera that has magical special power. You will also help spirits move on to their afterlife and recover your lost memories with the help of your trusty companion, Glob Glob.
Project Role
As a gameplay programmer, I was in charge of creating the overall level systems and game flow. I created the event system and scene state and cutscene system to help facilitate the game flow and story telling. I was also in charge of creating the dialogue manager where I ensured that the dialogue is played at the correct time. I helped serialised and deserialised the dialogue through CSVHelper and ensured the files are loaded and read at the right time.
